Kenfair’s exhibition business revenue drops 16%


News this week: Hong Kong-listed Sino Resources Group, formerly Kenfair International, has released its results for the year ended 31st March 2012. The company posted revenues of US$18 million, up 66% from the previous year. Losses for the year were US$4.9 million, compared with US$4.4 million recorded in 2011.

Just over half of the company’s revenues were generated from exhibitions business, which amounted to US$8.9 million or a 16% year-on-year decrease. The company’s management highlighted the success of the Mega Show Part 1 and Part 2 during October 2011 in Hong Kong, but also the temporary termination of the London Asia Expo this year. The company’s remaining revenues were generated from the coal trading business.

The company expects new business segments to become its main revenue source in the future.
