CCID’s profit jumps 57% Q1

News this week: Hong Kong-listed, mainland media group, CCID Consulting, released its quarterly result for the three months ended 31st March 2015. Revenues were US$3.6 million, a year-on-year decrease of 19%. However, the company’s net profit jumped 57% from last year, amounting to US$174,000 in the quarter. Earnings per share in the three-month period were RMB 0.0015.

More than half of CCID’s revenues were generated from its management & strategic consultancy services, amounting to US$1.9 million – a drop of 22% year-on-year. Management attributed the decrease in this business segment to the expansion of other businesses within the company.

CCID’s second largest business segment, information engineering supervision services, also slipped 26% to US$1.2 million, and accounted for 32% of total revenues. The remaining revenues were generated from market consultancy services, which grew 20% to US$613,000.

CCID revenues and profits down

News this week: Hong Kong-listed consulting and media group, CCID Consulting, posted its results for the nine months ending 30 September 2014. In that period, revenues slipped 5% to US$15.1 million.

In the same period, CCID’s net profit fell by 12% to US$1.16 million. Earnings per share in the nine months were RMB 1.02 cents. CCID’s  “Management and Consulting Services” generate the majority of its revenues - US$8.85 million (or 59% of revenues). Marketing Consulting Services accounted for 10% of revenues in the period and “Information Engineering Supervision Services” 31%.

In the past nine months, CCID organised a series of conferences and events including the 2014 China IT Market Annual Conference, the 2014 China Semiconductor Market Annual Conference and the Big Data World Forum. These events were held in a variety of cities including Beijing, Wuxi and Guiyang.

CCID’s first half revenues down, but profits up

News this week: Earlier this month, Hong Kong-listed CCID Consulting reported its interim results for the six months ended 30th June 2014. Revenues were US$9.5 million – an 11% decrease year-on-year. However, the company recorded a net profit of US$573,000, up 17% compared with the same period in 2013. Earnings per share in the six-month period were RMB 0.0051.

More than 60% of CCID’s revenues were generated from its management & strategy consultancy services amounting to US$5.8 million. This is a 14% decrease compared with the first half of 2013. The company’s second largest business segment, information engineering supervision services generated US$2.6 million which accounted for 27% of CCID’s total revenues – that is a year-on-year decrease of 4.6%. The remaining revenues were generated from its market research services, which slid 6.6% versus the same period in 2013.

CCID also released its results for the quarter ended 30th June. Revenues in the quarter were US$5.0 million, down 19% over the same quarter in 2013. Net profit increased 28% compared with last year rising to US$462,000.

CCID’s revenue flat in Q1, profit down 15%

News this week: Hong Kong-listed, mainland media group, CCID Consulting, announced its quarterly result for the three months ended 31st March 2014. Revenues were US$4.5 million, flat against the previous year. The company posted a profit of US$111,000 in the quarter, which represents a 15% decrease compared with the same period last year. Earnings per share in the three-month period were RMB 0.001.

More than half of CCID’s revenues were generated from its management & strategic consultancy services, amounting to US$2.4 million - which was down 20% year-on-year. Its second largest business segment, information engineering supervision services, jumped 57% year-on-year to US$1.6 million and accounted for 35% of total revenues. The remaining revenues were generated from market consultancy services, which increased slightly by 2.7% to US$512,000.

CCID’s profit up 21%

News this week: Earlier this week, CCID Consulting, the Hong Kong-listed arm of the mainland media group, released its annual results for the year ended 31st December 2013. The company’s turnover was US$24 million, mostly flat with the 2012 figure. Profit attributable to equity holders of the company grew 21% year-on-year, to US$1.7 million. Diluted earnings per share in 2013 were RMB 0.014 (US$0.0023).

The largest business segment of CCID was the management & strategic consultancy services, generating US$15 million of turnover and accounted for 61% of total turnover. The information engineering supervision services was the second largest segment amounting to US$5.9 million, and accounted for 24% of total turnover. This represents a 27% year-on-year increase.

CCID’s profit up 22%

News this week: Hong Kong-listed CCID Consulting has announced its results for the nine months ended 30th September 2013. The company reported revenues of US$16 million, up 1.6% over the first nine months of 2012. Net profit in the period grew 22% to US$1.5 million. Earnings per share in the nine-month period were RMB 0.0115 (US$0.0019).

More than 60% of total revenues were generated from CCID’s management & strategy consultancy services, amounting to US$9.7 million and up 1.1% year-on-year. Information engineering supervision services posted revenues of US$3.8 million, which accounted for 24% of the total and grew by 4.9% over the same period of last year. The remaining revenues were generated by the market research services, down 1.1% from 2012.


CCID also reported its results for the quarter ended 30th September. Revenues in the quarter were US$5.1 million, an increase of 6.5% over the same quarter last year. The company posted a net profit of US$910,000, compared with a loss of US$89,000 in 2012.

CCID Consulting’s H1 revenue flat

News this week: Last week, Hong Kong-listed CCID Consulting announced its interim results for the six months ended 30th June 2013. Revenues were US$11 million – almost flat with the first half of 2012. The company recorded a profit attributable to equity holders of US$497,000, down by 64% from the same period last year. Earnings per share in the six-month period were RMB 0.0044.

CCID’s management & strategy consultancy services generated revenues of US$6.8 million or 63% of total revenues. This is a 1.5% decrease compared with the same period last year. The company’s second largest business segment, information engineering supervision services, generated US$2.8 million which accounted for 26% of total revenues – a growth of 47% year-on-year as a result of increased market demand. The remaining revenues were generated from market research services, which dropped 41% year-on-year.

CCID’s Q1 revenue down 7%


News this week: Hong Kong-listed, mainland media group, CCID Consulting, announced its quarterly results for the three months ended 31st March 2013. Turnover in the quarter was US$4.5 million, a 6.6% decrease year-on-year. However, the company posted a net profit attributable to equity holders of US$130,000 in the period, which represents an 11% increase over the same period last year. Earnings per share in the quarter were RMB 0.12 cents.

CCID’s management & strategic consultancy services, the company’s largest business segment, accounted for 67% of total revenues with US$3.0 million, up 16% over last year. CCID’s second largest business segment, information engineering supervision services, grew by 10% year-on-year to US$989,000 and accounted for 22% of total revenues. The remaining revenues were generated from market consultancy services – which slipped 62% to US$499,000, which management attributed to a competitive environment in this key segment.

CCID revenues up 15% in 2012


News this week: Last week, CCID Consulting, the Hong Kong-listed arm of the mainland media group, released its annual results for the year ended 31st December 2012. The company’s turnover was US$23 million, an increase of 15% over the 2011 result. However, profits recorded a year-on-year decline of 43%, down to US$1.3 million. Diluted earnings per share in 2012 were RMB 0.012 (US$0.0019).

More than 61% of turnover was generated from CCID’s management & strategic consultancy services, amounting US$14 million and representing a 29% year-on-year increase. The second largest business segment was “information supervision services”, which generated revenues of US$4.5 million and accounted for 19% of CCID’s total turnover – that represents a 2.2% decrease compared with 2011. Market consultancy services generated 14% of total revenues (US$3.3 million or 18% of the total). Marketing consultancy services dropped 8.7% compared with the previous year. The remaining income was generated from training & technical services (5.2%) and data information management services (0.5%).

CCID’s management attributed the decrease in profits to increased investment in its subsidiaries and increases in labour costs.

CCID Consulting Q3 revenue up, profit down

News this week: Hong Kong-listed CCID Consulting, announced its results for the nine months ended 30th September 2012. Revenues were US$15 million – an increase of 9.7% compared with the first nine months of 2011. However, net profit in the period was down 18% to US$1.2 million.


The Beijing-based company attributed the growth of its revenue to the continuous efforts to promote business reform and extensive promotions in the management consultancy market.

CCID also reported results for the quarter ended 30th September. Revenues were US$4.7 million, an increase of 7.5% over the same quarter last year. The company posted a net loss of US$89,000, compared with a profit of US$18,000 last year.

CCID first half revenue up 7%


News this week: Hong Kong-listed CCID Consulting announced its interim results for the six months ended 30th June 2012. Revenues were US$10.4 million – an increase of over 7% compared with the first half of 2011.

The company recorded a net profit of US$1.3 million, a decrease of 4% over the same period last year. The management attributed the fall to an increase in development fees from business development.

CCID’s management and strategy consultancy services generated revenues of US$6.7 million or 64% of total revenues. This is a 27% increase compared with the same period last year. The company’s market research business, generated US$1.9 million which accounted for 19% of total revenues – a 17% year-on-year decrease. The remaining revenues were generated from CCID’s Information Engineering Supervision services.

CCID revenues up 13% in Q1


News this week: Last week, Hong Kong-listed mainland media group, CCID Consulting announced its results for the first quarter of 2011. Revenues in the quarter were US$4.7 million, a 13% increase year-on-year. Gross profit in the period was up 11% to US$2.4 million.

CCID’s management attributed the growth mainly to its continuous efforts in promoting reform. The company posted a net profit of US$116,000 in the period, which represents a 15% decrease over the same period last year.

CCID’s public relation consultancy services, the company’s largest business segment, accounted for 54% of total revenues with US$2.5 million, while management consultancy services jumped 27% over last year. CCID’s second largest business segment, market research services, dropped by 7.8% year-on-year to US$1.3 million and accounted for 28% of CCID’s revenues. The remaining revenues were generated from information engineering supervision services – which increased 13% to US$887,000.

CCID revenue up, profit down

News this week: Earlier this week, Hong Kong-listed, CCID Consulting, announced its results for the nine months ended 30th September 2011. Revenues were US$14 million – an increase of 10% compared with the first nine months of 2010. Net profit in the period was US$1.4 million, a decline of 39% over the same period last year.

CCID’s management consultancy services generated 54% of revenues – or US$7.5 million, a year-on-year increase of 47%. Information supervision services accounted for 24% of the total and posted US$3.3 million in revenues, decreasing 13% compared with the same period of last year. The remaining revenues were generated by the market research services.

CCID revenues up 36% in Q1

News this week: Hong Kong-listed, mainland media group, CCID Consulting announced its results for the first quarter of 2011. Revenues in the quarter were US$4.0 million, a 36% increase year-on-year. The company posted a net profit of US$131,000 in the period, which represents a 17% growth over the same period last year.

CCID’s largest business segment, its management and public relation consultancy services, doubled last year’s revenue to US$1.9 million and accounted for 47% of total revenues. Market research services jumped 131% to US$1.4 million – accounting for 34% of CCID’s revenues. The remaining revenues (US$755,000) were generated from the information and data management services which contracted 47% compared with the same period in 2010.
