CCID revenues up 13% in Q1

News this week: Last week, Hong Kong-listed mainland media group, CCID Consulting announced its results for the first quarter of 2011. Revenues in the quarter were US$4.7 million, a 13% increase year-on-year. Gross profit in the period was up 11% to US$2.4 million.

CCID’s management attributed the growth mainly to its continuous efforts in promoting reform. The company posted a net profit of US$116,000 in the period, which represents a 15% decrease over the same period last year.

CCID’s public relation consultancy services, the company’s largest business segment, accounted for 54% of total revenues with US$2.5 million, while management consultancy services jumped 27% over last year. CCID’s second largest business segment, market research services, dropped by 7.8% year-on-year to US$1.3 million and accounted for 28% of CCID’s revenues. The remaining revenues were generated from information engineering supervision services – which increased 13% to US$887,000.
