BOL’s revenue down 10%, profits up 38%


News this week: Business Online (BOL) a Bangkok-based business information provider, has announced its results for the quarter ended 31st March 2012. Revenues were US$2.5 million, down 10% year-on-year. BOL’s net income in the quarter was US$438,000, an increase of 38% compared to the same period in 2011. Diluted earnings per share in the period were Baht 0.02.

BOL’s online information service generated revenues of US$1.6 million – flat compared with last year and accounted for 63% of total revenues. Other service income dropped 25% to US$834,000 in the quarter and accounted for 34% of total revenues. The company attributed the decrease in other service income to the higher cost of services of a number of special projects underway.
