News this week: The 29th edition of the Hong Kong International Jewellery Show reported a record exhibitor attendance of 3,100 exhibitors from 48 countries and regions at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC). Organised by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), the five-day event took place from the 5th to 9th February, and featured first-time exhibitors from Argentina, Denmark and Myanmar.
The HKTDC also organised more than 6,500 buyers from 87 buying missions to attend the show, with exhibiting product categories including fine jewellery, precious loose jewellery, antique & vintage jewellery, jade jewellery, silver jewellery, watch & clocks and diamonds.
The previous edition of the show in 2011 featured 2,870 exhibitors covering over 90,000 m2 in gross area.
