News this week: Reed Exhibitions China has announced
the launch of Reed Honda Exhibitions, a new joint venture in China, to serve
the local automotive aftermarket sector through the Zhengzhou-based China
International Automotive Aftermarket Expo & China Auto Accessories Trade
Fair (CIAAF).
CIAFF will hold its
ninth edition from 26th to 30th June this year at the Zhengzhou International Convention and
Exhibition Center (ZZICEC) and it is expected that the show will reach
200,000 m2. The 2011 edition of CIAFF featured 3,100 exhibitors covering
over 130,000 m2 of exhibition space and attracted 170,000 visitors.
According to Reed, the
automotive aftermarket in China was valued at US$67.5 billion last year and is
expected to grow more than 27% this year - with an emphasis on growth in second
and third tier cities of Central and Western China.
