News this week: The Suntec Singapore Convention & Exhibition Centre has announced a contract extension with Koelnmesse to host the
next two editions of its dental trade show, IDEM
Singapore in 2016 and 2018.
IDEM Singapore was
recently held at Suntec from 4th to 6th April 2014
attracting 500 exhibitors from 38 countries – a 20% rise over 2012. The dental
trade show and conference increased its floor space by 30% this year to cover
more than 16,000 m2, and featured pavilions from eleven countries.
According to Koelnmesse, a total of 7,842 attendees from 61 countries attended the
show and conference.
Michael Dreyer, Asia
Pacific vice president of Koelnmesse, commented “We will continue to strengthen
IDEM Singapore’s position as the preferred platform for companies looking to
launch new dental solutions into Asia, by continuing to bring in the key buyers
from the region. We hope that IDEM Singapore will grow to become not only a
gateway to Asian markets but also a portal to the rest of the world.”
