News this week: NASDAQ-listed technology media
company, TechTarget announced the
establishment of a Singapore office to better manage the company’s south-east
Asian sales operations and work more closely regional marketers in Asia. Katie
Gordon, sales director of the Asia-Pacific, will be based in Singapore.
In addition to the new
Singapore office, TechTarget currently operates offices in China, India and
Australia. In south-east Asia, TechTarget has 363,000 registered members and
generates more than 8 million ad impressions each quarter. Across the region,
the company has nearly 3 million registered members and operates 12 websites in
China, four in India, three in Australia and 20 partner-run websites in Japan.
TechTarget’s vice
president of APAC, Jon Panker, was quoted in the press release, saying, “Over
the past few years we have seen significant growth across Southeast Asia. This
office in Singapore, in addition to our continued investment in our Australia,
China and India operations, will help us provide even better service and
stronger marketing campaign results to technology vendors who need to reach a
qualified audience of IT buyers in the region.”
