Made-in-China.com’s net income up 65%

News this week: Shenzhen-listed Focus Technology, the operator of Made-in-China.com, has released its results for the year ended 31st December 2010. Revenues were US$51 million, a year-on-year increase of 45%. Net income in 2010 was US$23 million, a jump of 65% compared with results in 2009. Diluted earnings per share were RMB 1.28 (US$0.19) in the year.

The majority of Focus Technology’s revenues were generated through the operation of the Made-in-China website, an online sourcing platform. Membership fees generated US$33 million or 65% of total revenues, while value-added services generated 25% of total revenues – US$13 million. The company’s Audited Supplier Services generated another US$4.3 million or 9% of the total revenues.

As of 31st December 2010, Made-in-China.com had 13,346 registered members, a year-on-year 25% increase. The company reported 12,365 members registered on its flagship English-language site and 981 registered on its Chinese site.
