CITS launches conference organiser

News this week: The MICE division of China International Travel Service (CITS) has reportedly launched a Beijing-based professional conference organiser (PCO) division with a US$15 million budget.

CITS will leverage its close ties with various government departments, trade associations and other industry institutions, to facilitate growth of the new division which will provide services such as congress management and consulting services primarily to event organising committees in China. Additionally, CITS’ new division will also offer destination management and technical and creative production services.

Dorothy Yeo, PCO director of CITS International MICE division, was quoted, “With the intensified, ever-changing environment and higher deliverances in event management, being equipped with the core competencies of a PCO is a key to success. We are confident CITS is well-endowed to manage and deliver successful congresses.”
