News this week: Indian specialty publisher, CyberMedia, announced its financial results for the year ended 31st March 2011 last week. Although revenues were down 7% to US$21 million, the company recorded a net profit of US$91,000 compared to loss of US$608,000 last year.
The company’s media business generated US$12 million or 55% of its total revenues, a year-on-year increase of 10%. The company’s media services business dropped 22% to US$9.6 million.
Total revenues in the quarter ended 31st March were US$5.3 million, down 16% compared with the same period last year. The company posted a net profit of US$235,000, compared to a loss of US$30,000 in the same quarter of 2010.
