News this week: Koelnmesse
through its Indian subsidiary, Koelnmesse
YA Tradefair, has signed an agreement with the Institute of Indian Foundrymen (IIF) to
continue to organise foundry trade fairs IFEX
and Cast India Expo until 2017.
IFEX has been jointly organised by Koelnmesse and IFF since
2006 and Cast India Expo since 2010. The co-located events are held in a
different city each year. The last edition of the trade fairs recently took
place in Kolkata at the end of January.
Gerald Böse, CEO of Koelnmesse GmbH, said, “This is a clear
indication that Koelnmesse will continue to expand its business activities in
India, which is one of the core countries of our growth strategy outside
Germany.”
