Guangzhou, 5th November: The 108th Canton Fair – China Import and Export Fair closed on 4th November with more than 199,000 visitors, a year-on-year 5.9% increase. The Canton Fair covered 1,130,000 m2 in the China Import and Export Fair Complex with more than 57,000 booths. In this edition, 23,599 exhibitors and 199,226 visitors from 208 countries attended the fair.
Visitors from Europe in particular showed the most improvement, increasing 23% from the previous edition to 41,475. The top five visiting countries and regions ranked in order were Hong Kong, the United States, Taiwan, Iran and Russia.
