i2i Events launches four new Asian events in 2014

News this week: U.K.-based organiser i2i Events Group announced the launch of four new events in Asia, including three in Shanghai. The inaugural edition of CWIEME Shanghai (Coil Winding, Insulations and Electrical Manufacturing Exhibition) attracted more than 3,700 trade visitors. The show took place from 3rd to 5th March 2014 at the Shanghai International Exhibition Centre (INTEX). i2i reported a rebooking rate of more than 70% from its exhibitors.

The second event to be launched in Shanghai is the World Retail Congress China. The event was developed in partnership with the China Chain Store & Franchise Association and will take place in July 2014. i2i will also launch Pure Shanghai, a spin-off of the fashion trade show Pure London, in association with CCPI TEX to showcase some 150 international and domestic fashion brands.

Mark Shashoua, CEO of i2i Events Group, commented, “2014 is proving to be an exciting year for i2i events in China and South East Asia. Our established events continue to do well and with an office already established in Shanghai and successful partnerships across the region, we are well placed to take full advantage of the exciting growth opportunities in China and beyond. Our focus on the region is part of our long term development strategy to strengthen our profile on the international stage and extend our global footprint by taking some of our best brands to new and developing markets.”
